Katherine Dawn Brown

Kat

Katherine, now 32, was born and raised in Albany, Oregon. She has a younger sister, Victoria. She studied Chemistry at Linn-Benton Community College before finding her way to California via Iowa. In California she parlayed her previous retail management experience in to a support position in technology and has happily remained in information technology since then. She has worked for Microsoft as a Program Manager for the past seven years. She has occasionally returned to school part-time, when her work load allows, to study towards a degree in Biology.

Katherine is continuing her work for Microsoft now that she and Bengt have moved in to their new home in Washington state. She's supported significant online services in her work at Microsoft in California, including Hotmail, and is now supporting Messenger in her role in Washington.

Katherine enjoys spending her free time in artistic, culinary, and community pursuits of all varieties. She has started an organic garden and greenhouse as well as began raising small livestock, starting with a goat and chickens. She looks forward to their new family growing in both four and two-legged kids.
